Remedy Developer
Key Role
This position is for a Remedy Developer who will focus on the design and development of BMC's Remedy applications, both custom and out of the box. Key responsibilities will include transforming business requirements into designs, design applications and enhancements within the Remedy environment. A Remedy Developer's responsibility is to develop and customize the Remedy application according to specifications using BMC's Remedy Developer Studio; develop, document, and coordinate moving code between development platforms; integrate external data sources with the proper areas of the BMC Remedy Application; Configure and install- Web Services to deploy Web-based access of Remedy services to client users; use Crystal Reports and Remedy's report writer to produce web-based analytical reports; collaborate with remedy users to demonstrate new functionality; conduct user acceptance testing of web services. Position requires participating in requirements gathering; performing analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of new customers/workflows; providing input to Remedy Architect for development standards and changing processes Candidates should have a strong familiarity with BMC's Analytics and Dashboard as well as demonstrated use of ITIL framework.
Qualifications
- This position requires five years as BMC Remedy Consultant and a minimum of four years experience in technology industry-related/customer support position
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills; problem-solving, and analytical skills,
- Posses ability to work on complex projects with general direction, minimal guidance and meet deadlines; multi-task and work independently as well as be a creative, flexible, and innovative member of various teams and committees
- Excellent client relationship skills
- Demonstrated experience using SQL and Oracle
Demonstrated .NET development experience for large-scale, complex, operating environments with 20,000+ users.
Education Requirements
- BS in a related discipline.
Clearance
Criminal Background Check
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation by our customers and may need to meet minimum eligibility requirements as part of an eligibility qualification process. A government clearance is not required for this position. Information Dynamics performs its own criminal background check prior to hire.
Fingerprinting
Applicants selected will be subject to a fingerprinting as required by our customers before an identification badge is issued to grant access to customer sites.
