Elyria, OH -- Bob Stauffer was recently hired by the USDA Graduate School to develop and teach (part time) a new class entitled "Performance Reference Models and Linkage to Strategic Plans". The curriculum focuses on developing Department and Agency-level performance measures and the methods to conduct effective measurement. The measures are then mapped to the FEA Perfromance Reference Model, the Performance Section of the OMB Exhibit 300, and aligned to Agency's and Department documented strategic goals.

"The PRM is a framework for performance measurement providing commom output measurements throughout the federal government. It allows agencies to better manage the business of government at a strategic level, by providing a means for using an agency's EA to measure the success of investments and their affect on strategic outcomes."
